Kim Vij is a Certified Teacher with over 20 years of experience using her Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Florida. She moved from the traditional classroom to raise her 3 children and to be an advocate for early childhood education using a much larger platform online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When she is not creating or pinning ideas for kids, you will often find Kim speaking at events, hosting Twitter chats or discussing with a friend at a play date about how to help their child learn with developmentally appropriate strategies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A community builder at heart, she served as an organizer of a local mom’s group and as a school volunteer coordinator. She’s built several large Facebook communities in one of her roles as a social media manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim Vij is the co-founder and marketing director of The Educators’ Spin On It.<\/strong> In addition, she co-organizes the Virtual Book Club for Kids<\/a> and is a freelance writer with articles published online and in magazines. Kim enjoys sharing tips for making everyday moments into learning opportunities for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Pinfluencer she has created award-winning Pinterest Boards with over 1.6 Million followers by focusing pins on education and parenting. She\u2019s successfully partnered with leading children\u2019s educational bloggers and brands to create powerful boards for early childhood education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim has launched her own Pinterest consulting business <\/a>called Vij Consulting, LLC, and is often found speaking at conferences to business owners and bloggers. She hosted a weekly Twitter chat called PinChat and Facebook community all focused on Pinterest for businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
