There are two times you talk about a dozen with either eggs or flowers. Plus a creative way to teach kids to share their well wishes to others during this time of thanks.\" title=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><b>Materials<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>12 Sheets of Colorful Scrapbook Paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot Glue {adult tasks}<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper Straws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vase or Container<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Glass Beads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Directions to Make<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Cut out 12 circles from the scrapbook paper. Create a template and your child can trace out the circles. Make the circle around 7 inches in diameter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. {Adult Task} Warm up glue gun or use heavy craft glue.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/theeducatorsspinonit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Directions2Bfor2BSpiral2BPaper2BFlowers2Bwith2BKids2Bfor2BThanksgiving-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theeducatorsspinonit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Directions2Bfor2BSpiral2BPaper2BFlowers2Bwith2BKids2Bfor2BThanksgiving.png\" alt=\"Madeline Math Activity with Flowers. Using scissors cut out a spiral from the outside to the inside of the circle. Leave enough of the circle to glue the rolled paper onto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Once glue is cool on each flower attach to the paper straw using the hot glue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you make your first few flowers it gets pretty easy. Making paper flowers is something I&#8217;ve done with years with my kids and even when I was a kid. Take the flowers and encourage your child to place them into the container.
