I am working with 3/4 Autistic students I want to read something they can enjoy and be engaged so far it seems to be working. I was so excited to show it to them and they loved it!!

Im an afterschool program teacher (K-2nd grages) & read this series outloud every other year or so. Mary Pope Osborne does a ton of research & it allows us to talk about all sorts of historical places & people, science, animals, conservation etc. I put a world map on the wall to place a pushpin where they time travel to & that works in geography, as well. I get several kids who join in every book…”The wind began to blow. The treehouse started to spin. It spun faster & faster. Then, everything was still. Absolutely still.”

I have just discovered this series in the UK – it’s only available online not in stores but with the Olympics around the corner we’ve brought the Olympic book and the fact tracker as well. I am waiting till they are on special offer and then will be buying the collection for my youngest.
